D.A. SHIELDS CONSTRUCTION

Educated in Canada and Europe, Evelyn brings diverse experience to the General Contracting firm she co-founded. From a Fine Arts background and career in medicine, she has pursued studies in Business Mangement, Interior Design, Lighting
Design, and Landscape Architecture. But it was the progressive energy conservation measures encountered in Northern Europe that kindled her passion for sustainable building and design practices.

Now a L E E D® Accredited Profesional, Evelyn is Vice President
of the U.S. Green Building Council - San Diego Chapter, responsible
for strategic planning. She also represents the Chapter on the
USGBC Pacific Regional Council. Actively involved in other professional
associations, Evelyn co-chaired the AIA 2005 Design Awards.

Along with keeping D.A. Shields Inc. on the leading edge of industry
developments and evolving performance objectives, Evelyn is
responsible for long-term planning, client satisfaction follow-up
and making sure that proactive customer service is diligently
maintained.
